Hungarian Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years in Budapest

Hundreds of Scientologists assembled at the Váci Road church in Budapest to mark the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.

Dedicated in July 2016, the six-storey Scientology religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary included a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and a presentation looking toward the coming years.

During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
